 It is a beautiful but long drive from Patzcuaro to Zihuatanejo. Casa La Playa is the spot $10. a bed (554-22-47) . If you are not into "funky" and fun, there are lots of other choices. Hotel Avila is right next door, 554-20-10, at about $70 a night. This is a beautiful beach town. Don't forget your bathing suit. You will want to go in the water. We will stay 2 nights to rest up for the long haul North.
