| Continuing on highway 49 to 57, the next stop is Queretaro. This area is full of beautiful and interesting cities. Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Delores Hidalgo and San Luis Potosi to name a few, but Queretaro, which means "rocky place" , is the closest to the Hwy. Places of interest are the museo de matematica at the university and the Plaza principal has, besides people watching, concerts or dancing many nights. Hotel Impala, on the corner of Corregidora Sur and Zaragoza has some rooms with a veiw of the park. It is about $20 and up with underground parking (212-25-70). The Plaza has many good places to eat with outdoor seating. | |||
